This page explains what happens to your information when you use this website. It is deliberately short, because this site does very little with data: there is one contact form, and there are no advertising trackers of any kind.

The contact form
When you submit the form we receive what you typed into it: your name, email address, the role you selected, and, if you chose to fill them in, your channel or website, main platform and audience size band, plus your message. Our server also records the country the request came from and which page you sent it from.

Submissions are not stored in a database on this website, and they are not added to any mailing list. They are forwarded to our inbox as a message and handled there.
Who else handles it

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else except where we are legally obliged to.
Abuse prevention
The form contains a hidden field that only automated scripts fill in, a small arithmetic question you answer yourself, and a counter that may briefly track submissions per internet connection to stop flooding. The arithmetic question is generated and checked by our own server: it sets no cookie, loads nothing from any other company, and records nothing about you. Where the counter is used it holds a short identifier for at most one hour and is never used to build a profile of anyone.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics to count visits and a small number of on-page events, such as a contact form being submitted. Plausible sets no cookies, collects no personal data and cannot follow you across other websites, which is why this site shows no cookie banner. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels or remarketing tags.
Your choices
Whoever and wherever you are, you can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your enquiry (ask and it goes);
- send you a copy of what you gave us;
- stop using your details, withdrawing the consent you gave.
Email contact (at) playshiftmedia.com. There is no charge and no particular format required. Depending on where you live you may also have a statutory right to complain to a data protection regulator, and nothing here is intended to limit rights the law gives you.
Children
This website is aimed at businesses and professional content creators. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change how the form or the site works, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it.
